44 He said to them, 'This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Pslams.'
45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.
46 He told them, 'This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 You are witnesses of these things.
49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.'
50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerualem with great joy.
53 And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

예수는 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 지금 고난을 받고 제삼일 만에 부활한 이것을 말한다고 분명히 말한다. 수천년 전 부터 기록되고 가리킨 것이 이루어진 때이다. 고난 받아 십자가에서 죽은 것은 역사적 사실 증거로써도 충분하다. 그런데 부활에 대한 증거로 그의 시신을 찾을 수 없다는 사실만으로는 부족해 보일 수 있다. 예수 부활의 증거를 사람들에게 그 모든 일의 증인이 되어 줄 것을 선포하고 특히 베드로와 사도들을 변화 시키고 하늘로 승천한다. 베드로와 사도들이 변화된 산 증인과 증거가 되어 지금까지 역사 과정에 있다. 그래서 부활은 사실이다. 부활이 없었다면 예수가 그리스도라고 할 수 없었겠지만 그가 부활 했기에 예수살렘 도시에서 시작하여 지금까지 모든 족속에게 전파되고 있는 역사를 바라볼 수 있다.
